Where to Eat

There is a huge variety of Bars and Restaurants to suit all budget and tastes in Tralee. Most are located in the town centre, just a short stroll away from our park. There is a great pocket guide to eating out in Tralee which is available at Reception when you arrive. We’ve listed the ones that we recommend and get constantly good reviews from our Happy Campers below…

The Grand Hotel. A very popular choice for our guests. Big Portions, Great food and very reasonably priced. Ideal for families and they have live music at weekends. Situated on Denny St which is just 10 mins walk from our park.

Cassidy’s Restaurant: This is one of our favourite restaurants to go to. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful and a lovey ambiance. They do some very good value set menus and early birds. It is advisable to make a reservation as it is very popular . There is an upstairs area which caters for large groups, birthdays etc.

The Stonehouse: Excellent family friendly restaurant with a great value early bird meal. An Chearnog bar opposite it is perfect for an aperitif!

Bella Bia: A lovely Italian Restaurant which offers great value and is perfect for a pre Theatre meal before going to see a show at Siamsa Tire across the road. Its a very small and intimate venue.

The Brogue Inn: Another very reliable and well established Bar and Restaurant. Its family friendly and there is Live Music at the weekends.

Pizza Time: Ideal for a low key family meal. Their pizzas are half price and they will deliver to Reception if you don’t feel like going to the restaurant.

The Roast House: A great place to grab lunch or coffee during the day and they also do tapas and evening meals at weekends. Buggy friendly.

Yummy Cafe: This is a great family friendly cafe which is perfect for lunch. Located in the Square in Tralee, they have a kiddies corner where the kids can entertain themselves while you take a minute to enjoy a coffee! It is loud so not somewhere to go if you are looking for some peace and quiet.

Spa Seafoods: This wonderful seafood restaurant is located a few miles outside Tralee. It is more expensive than other restaurants but definitely worth it. If you like Sea Food then you won’t be disappointed. They also do a lunch menu. This is a great place to go for a special meal, birthdays anniversary etc.

Tralee also has the old reliable’s like McDonalds, Burger King, Four Star Pizza, Dominos Pizza, and a host of local take away restaurants.
